Olympic Public Viewing with Gold Medalist Britta Heidemann 

Interview with Olympic gold medalist Britta Heidemann and public viewing of ice hockey match Germany-China

 

The Beijing Olympics are coming up, and the German Chamber invites its members to China-wide online event with the German Olympic fencing champion Britta Heidemann to talk about the life of a professional athlete, what can be learned from an athlete’s career for our industry careers, and how does it feel to receive an Olympic gold medal.


The interview with Britta Heidemann can be followed online from all over China. Members in Shanghai are invited to come to our office and enjoy with us the Olympic ice hockey match Germany-China after the interview with Ms. Heidemann. Refreshments will be served, limited seats available offline.

    Olympic Champion | IOC Member in the Athletes Commission | Olympic, World and European Champion
    Britta Heidemann is the Olympic Champion 2008 Epée Fencing, and has been one of the most successful fencing athletes within the last decade. She also became World Champion 2007 and European Champion 2009, won three Olympic medals and eleven medals at World Championships. In 2016 Olympians elected her to represent them in the Athletes Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Heidemann also supports different social projects for young people and works as a youth ambassador between Europe and China. After having received a diploma in Regional Sciences of East Asia, she works as a consultant for European companies who wish to invest into the Chinese market and accompanies e.g. political delegations to China.

    Clas Neumann is Global Head of the SAP Labs Network since 2009, and has been leading the Fast Growth Market Strategy team since 2013. In his role as Labs Head, Neumann acts as the central coordinator of all network activities. In his role as Head Fast Growth Market Strategy he leads the investments for SAP’s growth markets in Africa, China, Middle-East and Russia. Neumann has co-authored different books & articles on innovation in emerging markets and been recognized through different awards for his engagement in society and business.
